1. The list will never be sold.
We do not sell, rent, lease, license, trade, swap, gift, or otherwise transfer your name or email to any third party for any reason. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to AI training pipelines, not to a buyer if MemeZombie is acquired, in which case the list is deleted, not transferred. This is a binding promise.
2. What we collect.
- Name (whatever you typed, a pseudonym is fine).
- Email address, used to sign you in and, if you opt in, for new-link notifications.
- Your votes(which links you up/down-voted, so you can't double-vote).
- Links you submit (URL, headline, optional tags, only used to decide whether to publish them).
That is the entire list. We do not collect phone, location, or contacts.
3. Click counts.
When you click through to a linked page, we increment an aggregate counter on that link. We do not log a per-click row, and we do not store your IP address or any cookie for this. The count is a running total with no record of who contributed to it.
4. Cookies.
One session cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking pixels. No third-party analytics.
5. Deletion.
Visit Account → Delete account, type DELETE, click the button. Your account, name, email, votes, and submissions are removed within seconds. There is no recovery period and no retention.
Separately: if you're banned for abuse, the operator will purge your account and any links that were published from your submissions.
6. Children.
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
